Overview
Like many organisations in New Zealand, Arvida has identified some payroll compliance issues with the Holidays Act 2003. The issues identified may impact past and present Arvida employees who were employed on a permanent basis at any time from 15 May 2018, or from the date your community was acquired if after this date, up to when Arvida has confirmed compliance with the Holidays Act 2003.
Not all individuals who were employed by Arvida during that period have been impacted, as many will have received their correct entitlements.
A Holidays Act Remediation Project Team was established to ensure the identified issues were addressed and to ensure that any underpayments of leave are remediated to current and former employees. Remediation payments for currently employed staff are scheduled to be processed between 15 and 31 October 2025. The Project will then work on payments to former permanent or fixed-term employees of Arvida.
About this Process
This Portal is for former employees who were either permanent or fixed-term employees of Arvida.
Current employees don't need to do anything. If you are receiving an entitlement as part of the remediation recalculation, this will be processed between 15 and 31 October 2025.
We will need further information for former employees to process their remediation payments. We will reach out to former employees once we have completed the process with the current Arvida team.

This allows us to gather the necessary details to be able to process any payment due to you. This Portal is a secure and confidential method of gathering your information and allowing you to track the process of your claim.
After submitting your application, the Project Team will review and validate your details. Once your application is validated, we will inform you about the timeline for recalculating and paying any historical underpayment to you.

Your personal information will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020. The information requested is essential for verifying your identity and ensuring any back payments are correctly made to you. We cannot process back payments without this information. By providing your information, you consent to its use in the Holidays Act remediation process and any future remediation processes. If you are due future payments, we will ask you to reconfirm your information.
